Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how World Time Converter (the “Service”, available at world-time.co) handles information. The Service is operated by Tutsin Consulting sp. z o.o. (“we”, “us”), the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Summary
World Time Converter is a client-side tool. It runs entirely in your web browser to convert and compare time zones. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
2. Information we process
- Time-zone and city selections. The cities you add and display settings (such as the 12/24-hour toggle) are processed only within your browser to render the page. They are not transmitted to us.
- Local device storage. If the Service saves your preferences, it does so using your browser’s local storage on your own device. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings. This data never leaves your device.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) in server logs for security and to operate the Service. Where this constitutes personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the Service secure and available.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Service does not set advertising or tracking cookies and, as of the date above, does not use third-party analytics. If we introduce analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. How we use information
Any information described above is used solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
5. Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties except service providers that host or operate the Service on our behalf (for example, our hosting provider), and where required by law.
6. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO). To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Data retention
We do not maintain personal data records about visitors. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the “Last updated” date accordingly.
